2. Cookies

When you use our website, cookies may be stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and are assigned to the browser you are using, and through which specific information flows to the body which sets the cookie. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

The following types of cookies can be used:

- Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close the browser. These include in particular the session cookies. 3. Web analysis with Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open source software deployed to collect anonymous usage data for this website. This web analysis service is used on the servers we operate. Matomo uses cookies, which are stored on the user's computer and which enable an analysis of the user’s use of our website. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests, i.e. analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offering as defined by Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR.

Data on visitor behaviour is collected to detect potential problems such as pages not found, search engine problems or unpopular pages. As soon as the data (number of visitors who see error pages or only one page, etc.) is processed, Matomo generates reports for the website operators so that they can react to them (layout changes, new content, etc.) The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is only stored on our server and is not forwarded to third parties.

• Date and time
• Title of the page called up
• URL of the page called up
• URL of the previous page (if this allows it)
• Screen resolution
• Local time
• Files that have been clicked and downloaded
• External links
• Duration of the page layout
• Country, region, city (with low accuracy due to IP address)
• Main language of the browser
• User agent of the browser
• Interactions with forms (but not their content)

You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out, that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, you can also prevent Matomo collecting data by clicking the following button. An opt-out cookie will be set which prevents your data being collected in future when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser, only applies to our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie once again.

In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details.

(2) Art. 16 GDPR - You can immediately request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us.

(3) Art. 17 GDPR - You may request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, in order to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

(4) Art. 18 GDPR - You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you however need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.

F. Right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to lodge an objection to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, insofar as there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which is implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.

If you wish to exercise your right of revocation or objection, just send an e-mail to gschftsstllltnhlfprtt-byrnd.

DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION IN THE APPLICATION PROCEDURE

We only process applicant data for the purpose of and within the application process in accordance with the framework of the legal requirements. The applicant data is processed in order to fulfil our contractual or pre-contractual obligations within the scope of the application procedure according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b. GDPR Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, insofar as the data processing becomes necessary for us, e.g. within the scope of legal procedures, whereby § 26 BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act) must also be observed.

The application process is only opened when the applicant provides us with all the necessary applicant data. Where we provide an online form, this data is explicitly marked. Otherwise, this data results from our job descriptions, whereby personal details, postal and contact addresses as well as the documents belonging to the application, such as cover letter, curriculum vitae and certificates are recorded. Furthermore, applicants can voluntarily provide us with additional information.

By submitting an application to us, applicants consent to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process in the manner and to the extent set out in this privacy policy.

If special categories of personal data are voluntarily disclosed within the application process in accordance with Art. 9 Para. 1 GDPR, they will also be processed in addition in accordance with Art. 9 Para. 2 lit. b GDPR. This concerns in particular health data or information on ethnic origin.

If special categories of personal data as defined by Art. 9 Para. 1 GDPR are requested from applicants within the framework of the application procedure, they will also be processed in addition in accordance with Art. 9 Para. 2 lit. a GDPR. This is particularly the case with health data if it is required for someone to exercise their profession.

Where available, applicants can submit their applications to us using an online form on our website. This transmission is encrypted according to the state of the art.

Furthermore, applicants can also send their applications to us by e-mail. It should be noted, however, that e-mails are generally not sent in an encrypted format and that applicants themselves are responsible for encryption. For this reason, we recommend using an online form or sending the forms by post, which is probably the safest method in terms of data protection.

The data provided by applicants within their application may be processed further by us for the purposes of the employment relationship in the event of a successful application. If, on the other hand, an application for a job offer has not been successful, the applicants’ data will be deleted. Applicants' data will also be deleted if an application is withdrawn, which applicants are entitled to do at any time.

Subject to a justified revocation by the applicants, the data is deleted after the expiry of a period of six months so that we can answer any follow-up questions about the application and fulfil our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act. Invoices for any reimbursement of travel expenses are archived in accordance with tax law requirements.
